We are a 501 c 3 Non-Profit based in South Eastern Pennsylvania that serves socially conscious filmmakers and cultural workers who use the moving image and the arts to educate, heal, and transform our communities. Extended Play was founded in 1998 by Sharon Mullally and Ann Tegnell.

In 2026 we shifted focus to assisting artists who use cinema as a tool for social change in distribution and outreach. We assist filmmakers with engaging audiences and help them use the tool of cinema for continuing community education and cross-generaltional/cross-cultural exchange.

Support includes

• Fiscal Conduit for projects with 5% to 10% fee depending on the size of the grant.
• Screening opportunities at in person venues in the Philadelphia area along with support for outreach and distribution.
